Heels Pain

Some Experiences

This is to share with those those who have plantar fisciitis (heels pain)

and wanted to travel. I am 85% recovered from the pain when I went to Hawaii last month. Here is what I did:
I purchased this from Macy's and broke it in before I went to trip. This is the best shoes that I think give you the most absorption and helps ease the Heel Pain by far. I was told to try Dansko that Doctors and nurses or teachers who stand on their feet a lot like the ansko, but it is not cushion enough for my heels. I have purchased a few soft shoes before, but I can never walked long enough without feeling the heel pain but this is the best I find that I can walk for many hours.

But it does run small in the toes area, I did get a little blister since I was walking a lot with this shoes. But it's minor ache compare having the pain in the heels area. If I had gotten a half size up this probably will not be an issue.

I rotated my shoes whenever I get the chance to go back to the hotel with this sandals. It's only good for short distance such as to the beach or dinner, not good for long walking. But it did help relieve the pain to rotate the shoes. I also brought a pair of sneakers for a one day hiking, the sneakers is only good for hiking but I felt the pain afterward, so I never wear sneakers to walk.
Another thing I did was when I got back to the hotel at night, I got a bucket of Ice from the Iced machine, and pour it into a plastic grocery bag and let my feet soaked for 30 minutes. It helps with the inflammation, I did that every night before taking shower (by the time I step in the hotel there is no way I can stand up to take a shower).

Streching my toes is the exercise I did whenever I get a chance, like in the car, buses, or waiting in line. There is an exercise I do is pulling all my toes toward the knee for 10 seconds, and again for many times. It is great help with releasing the pain in the heels area. And one thing I tried to do was sat down as many chance as I can get.
